Not to make excuses, but these past few weeks have been crazy busy and stressful. Thus, no blog.
About a month ago, one of my best friends came into town to run a marathon, and I made her this poster!

It started off as a joke based off of the New York City marathon signs, but I slowly convinced myself to actually do it. I love doing design!
My friend and I hung out and got to catch up. We went to McFaddens one night with her sister and her friends. It wasn't necessarily my scene (think: frat party), but we had some good laughs and conversations after we left.

Another day, we went to Grouchy John's, where I got to meet her boyfriend for the first time. We played Apples to Apples and Cards Against Humanity and drank some delicious coffee (I got the Sith). By the way, playing both of those games is a great way to break the ice and get to know someone (and yourself, apparently).
Side note: Grouchy John's is one of our favorite coffee shops in Vegas. They have great drinks, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere. Also - free Starbursts with your purchase, a bookshelf full of board games, and nerdy memorabilia placed around the shop. Yes, thank you!
Work has been super intense lately. We had our annual state inspection the other day, so our supervisor has been freaking out for about a month. We've been cleaning everything and putting up Christmas decorations a whole month and a half early. We did well, though, and thankfully it's over. Now we just have Christmas to worry about. Blech.

In addition to all that, I've been planning a trip to Reno (which I will definitely blog about later)! The whole planning part of a trip can be stressful, especially when piled on top of more stress. I'm gonna put together another post in a couple of days, so I'm forced to pack and get everything in order early. I tend to procrastinate these things quite a lot...not this time, self!
I'm super excited to see my friends and do the Santa Pub Crawl! Yay!
And Christmas is right around the corner! I have most of my list done, (why are some people so hard to shop for?) now I just need to buy everything! Ahhh!
